The hottest night in Toronto’s history

It has finally happened. And it was bound to happen. The relevance of it that this happened during my first 3 months here in Canada has special significance for me. Have I moved to a hotter Canada already?

Yesterday night was the hottest night in Toronto’s recorded history. Yes, the hottest since they started recording such stuff. The preceding day was equally hot too. The evenings here have been so far pleasant, but no sirree bob, last evening around 10pm was almost like a kitchen with 5 stoves cooking.
